Workplace Giving

You can help Cure Cancer Australia by establishing a Workplace Giving program. Workplace Giving programs enable employees to make regular contributions to their preferred charities in an administratively simple and low cost way.

Workplace Giving programs benefit the community greatly engaging charities, employers and employees in philanthropic behaviour. By establishing a pattern of donations from both employees and employers through their payroll, charities are able to benefit from stable funding that is free of fundraising costs.

Corporations and employees enjoy a close relationship with the charities they sponsor, choosing to follow the development of specific programs. Workplace Giving programs are already largely successful in the US and the UK because they are cost-effective, easy to implement and provide stable funding to charity organisations.

What is Workplace Giving?

Workplace Giving is the process of making regular donations to charities through your employer's payroll system. Employees nominate an amount to give from their salary each month. A few dollars per month is significant to Cure Cancer Australia, especially when multiplied by a substantial number of employees. The donations are constant, allowing Cure Cancer to more effectively plan for the use of funding in long-term programs.

Employers may choose to match employee donations or donate a specified amount. The system is flexible. Workplace Giving also encourages businesses to give pro bono and volunteer assistance to their supported charities. Productive community oriented partnerships are mutually beneficial to both business and charity, helping employers to boost morale.

Workplace Giving to support Cure Cancer Australia is greatly appreciated, and can be facilitated by using the services of: Australian Charities Fund  or Charities Aid Foundation.
